"On May 5 (Lunar calendar), celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival." The Dragon Boat Festival is a traditional festival of the Chinese nation. According to "Continued Records of Qixie" and "Records of Jingchu Sui Shi", after the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, the Dragon Boat Festival was combined with commemorating Qu Yuan. Through setting up altars for worship, river cruises, dragon boat races, expressing feelings with rice dumplings, and "making a fuss" in the countryside, this folk custom has continued to this day in Qu Yuan's hometown, forming a tradition.
